CAREER PLANNING AND ADULT DEVELOPMENT NETWORK (CPAD a/k/a “The Network”) is a nonprofit international organization of professionals who work with adults in career transition. Founded by Dick Knowdell in 1979, The NETWORK sponsors a number of fast-track (truly accelerated and highly useful!) skill-building training and certification workshops for job and career transition coaches and job search trainers (see left column).

Dick Knowdell, CCMF, NCCC, NCC is an innovative developer of Assessment Instruments and Career Counseling Techniques, a workshop developer, and an international Career Conference Producer. He is also an International Trainer and Consultant to multinational organizations, a futurist, and author / co-author of six Career Development books.

Dick is famous for his fun-to-use CAREER ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENTS including Career Values, Motivated Skills, and Occupational Interests—all of which help career practitioners easily assist their clients with uncovering and transitioning into new careers.
