KATHRYN TROUTMAN is the founder of The Resume Place, Inc., a service business specializing in creating professional federal and private-sector resumes, and in coaching Career Practitioners in the federal hiring process. Recognized as the “Federal Resume Guru” by Federal human resources specialists, Kathryn is the pioneering designer of the new Federal Resume (based on her book, the Federal Resume Guidebook) that became an accepted standard after the SF171 form was eliminated in 1995.

Kathyrn’s Certification Programs are three-day Train-the-Trainer Workshops that teach career professionals how to advise, counsel, and train students, veterans, and other clients in federal job search. She offers two certification programs and a resume writing workshop:
